History
The Canton Chamber of Commerce was established in 1972; it is a non-profit corporation of voluntary membership that invests time and money to carry forward programs relevant to member needs. The Canton Chamber of Commerce originally was formed to assist in the unification of the business community and to encourage the residents to shop locally, thereby patronizing the chamber members.

Today, the Canton Chamber continues to promote a favorable business climate for our membership and community. In addition, we provide business leadership for improvement of the economic, political environment and quality of life while supporting orderly growth and development of the community.
